The 10-second read
- Cybercab will be shown at the Mondial de l'Auto in Paris, Oct 12–18 (Hall 7.1, stand C25).
- The display car comes from the operating US Robotaxi fleet.
- Also on the stand: Model 3/Y, an Optimus Gen 2 robot, energy products and six FSD test-drive cars.
- No European ride service has been announced.
Tesla is bringing the Cybercab to Europe for the first time. Bloomberg reported that the two-seat robotaxi will be on display at the Mondial de l'Auto in Paris, October 12–18, in Hall 7.1 at stand C25.
What's on the stand
According to the show's director, Tesla's presence includes:
- Cybercab: the display car comes from the operating US Robotaxi fleet, not a show prop.
- Optimus Gen 2, the humanoid robot.
- Model 3 and Model Y, plus energy products.
- FSD test drives with six cars.
Context: a showcase, not a launch
Tesla hasn't announced a European ride service, and it can't run one yet. FSD (Supervised) is approved in only eight EU countries, and the EU-wide vote slipped to December. Paris is a statement of intent made where European regulators and buyers will see it.
It also follows the Cybercab's Asia roadshow, which began in Hong Kong on September 9 and included a China display with no sales or ride service attached.
Where Cybercab actually stands
- Production: Cybercab production began at Giga Texas in April 2026. Tesla lists installed capacity above 125,000 a year, but that is capacity, not output.
- Rides: paid Cybercab rides started in Austin on September 4 in a limited area, booked through the Robotaxi app. Riders can't specifically request one.
- Fleet: Tesla doesn't disclose it. Texas registration data tracked by third parties showed about 169 Cybercabs by October 2, up from around 45 at launch.
- Regulation: NHTSA is auditing Tesla's self-certification that a vehicle without conventional manual controls meets federal safety standards, and issued a Special Order with answers due under oath by September 30.
